Okay, showing off the final product first is a great hook. It definitely makes you want to see how they achieve that 'beautiful slide' effect.

Starting with a blank slide and then immediately going to insert a picture as the background is the classic way to begin. I like that they're showing the direct path through the menus.

Cutting the picture with Ctrl+X and then going into 'Format Background' is an interesting sequence. I'm curious to see what they're going to do with that background formatting.
